About This Item

Chicago: Scott, Foresman and Company, 1901. Hardcover. Good with no dust jacket/No Jacket. Pages clean except for a bookplate at the front endpaper, some toning and specking around the page block edges, and small tears and creases at the bound corners of pp.417-422. Binding is somewhat relaxed, but square and secure; full red cloth cover shows darkening at the spine with dimming and flaking of the gilt titles, tiny brown specks front, back, and spine, and three short stains on the rear, otherwise sound. 507pp. w/index plus a bibliography of relevant English-language books prepared by Thorvald Solberg of the Library of Congress. The spine titles identify this as volume IV, but it is the complete text of Horn's work.
