Green cloth, lettered in gilt on spine and front, gilt faded on spine, starting to fade on front, insect abrasions on front and back boards and spine, ink stain on front right near center, pages toned and foxed, missing rear free endpaper, binding is tight, else in Good condition. Subtitle: Including all the fearful record; the breaking of the South Fork Dam; the sweeping out of the Conemaugh Valley; the overthrow of Johnstown: the massing of the wreck at the Railroad Bridge: escapes, rescues, searches for survivors and the dead; relief organizations, stupendous charities, etc, etc. With full accounts also of the destruction on the Susquehanna and Juniata Rivers and the Bald Eagle Creek. . Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
