Four volumes, published by William Paterson & Co in 1892 and translated from the Spanish by P. A. Motteux. Near contemporary red half morocco over marbled boards with marbled endpapers. Top edges gilt. Engraved frontispieces with numerous engraved plates and tissue-guards. Toning to edges with spotting to preliminaries and rear endpapers. Occasional browning. Rubbing to spine ends, hinges and all extremities. Vol 1 lacking frontispiece tissue-guard, but all others are present.
