Savannah Georgia: Self Published, 2007. Second Edition. . Hardcover. Fine. F/2nd edition. This is the 2nd edition of the history of the Georgia Society of Colonial Wars, written by A. Preston Russell, MD, local Savannah historian and author of several books on Savannah history. He also wrote the preface to the First Edition; the preface to the Second Edition was written by Gordon B. Smith, a lawyer in Savannah who is involved in many history associations, and is also a author of several books on Georgia history. 115 pages with several photos of association members, history of the society, roll of members, roll of ancestors, and by laws of the society. The pristine red leather covers have whitle lettering on the front and spine, with the society's emblem on the front cover. Interior is clean and tight, with the previous owner's name on the front pastedown, along with the date and page of his information. A truly beautiful copy, these do not come up for sale often. Comes to you in an acid free document bag for storage. Mailed boxed, and I can have it in the mail tomorrow. BASQ
