Third edition; 4 volumes, folio, 60 colour plates (with captioned tissue-guards) after Shirley Slocombe, numerous black & white plates and illustrations within text, publisher's red cloth gilt, slight fading to spine heads, otherwise fine and bright, original drab printed dust-wrappers, faded with minor defects and soiling, otherwise very good and internally fine.
An excellent set of this landmark in furniture history, retaining the original dust-jackets, so often discarded.
