Black cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the spine. Condition good, corners and spine ends rubbed, gilt on spine has been rubbed and dulled a lot and is hardly visible, pages are browned at the edges else clean. Previous owner's name to front end-paper: "Malcolm Elwin, University College, Oxford. January 23rd 1922" This copy was owned by Malcolm Elwin who was later to become a biographer and literary critic. From Malcolm Elwin's own library, part of a large selection of his books we recently purchased from a highly reputable auctioneer. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
