About This Item
Edinburgh [Scotland]: David Douglas, 1890 xv, [1], 440pp, [16], printed on fine glossy paper, bound in blue cloth, gilt faded, binding and hinges tight, illustrated throughout with plates and text illustrations, with the frontis-piece tissue guarded. Alas, this book has seen water damage, showing especially on the covers, and then again on the outer page edges.
