Philadelphia: James D. Scott, 1879. First Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. A Good copy in maroon cloth lettered and decorated in gold, all edges gilt. The book has been re-backed/re-cased. Thus, a new black cloth spine and new endpapers, but the covers and contents are original and complete, to include all plates. Scattered mild tanning/soiling within, and occasional short mended tears, but no paper loss. No binding weaknesses. A sound reading/reference copy of the scarce 1879 first edition. (Not ex-library.)
