Very Good: shows light wear to extremities, with some scuffing and dampstaining to the morocco tips and half morocco bindings; mild rubbing to the marbled boards; faint, sparse foxing to the end papers and a few pages; former owner's name rubber-stamped in small letters at the flyleaf of each volume. Bindings are square and secure; text clean. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. A carefully used set, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing a little wear and unobtrusive, but notable imperfections. All three volumes remain clean, sturdy, and quite presentable.
