Oversize hardcover, 9.7 x 12.3 inches, has black buckram cloth-covered boards with gold spine lettering. Black and white illustrations. 432 pages. NOT ex-library. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends lightly bumped and rounded. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Gift inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1971. One small quarter-inch stain on the fore edge of the page block. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
