Philadelphia: Printed by the Bingham Co, 1923. First edition. Hardcover. Fine/No Jacket. 1923, First Edition. Hardcover. 210 pp. Illustrated in b&w. A Fine copy; tight, clean and unmarked. Includes a typed letter from the president of the BLW, Samuel M. Vauclain, on his personal stationary presenting the book to a E. M. Foster of Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh. The letter is dated January 30, 1925 and signed by Vauclain at the bottom. Vauclain, 1856-1940, was an inventor and businessman who received the John Scott Award, the Elliott Cresson Medal and a Distinguished Service Medal for his help in producing arms and armor for the American army in WWI.
