New Haven, CT.: J. W Barber, 1831. First edition. leather spine over marbeled paper. . Very good. Small, thin volume. Rebound in red quarter calf with marbeled boards, v ery good. Interior good, with foxing and spots on pages, with some pages having weat at edges. Colored map frontis and 6 other plates (1 missing). Plates included are S. view of New Haven, Public Square of New Haven, Yale, East Rock, West Rock, City Plan of New Haven. 106 p. w/ a few b&w illus. with text. Barber (d. 1885) was an engraver who wrote, illustrated, and published a number of local history books about Connecticut.
