First edition, 4to, approx. 11.25'' by 9''. Library rebound in green cloth with gilt titles on spine & library name on front. 478pp + xcvi pp of appendices with additional notes & illustrations. Illustrated with frontispiece of the cathedral and 6 other engraved plates of the interior, Jonathon Swift, monuments & a map. Some foxing on plates, occasional marks (see pictures), but generally the inner book is clean & in very good condition. Ex reference library with minimal markings, pictorial bookplate & number on front pastedown, handwritten number to the reverse of title page, single stamp to upper edge & rear pastedown. No other obvious library markings. ***Heavy & may require extra overseas postage***
