This Edition of the Works of Henry Fielding, Printed for Subscribers Only, is Limited to One Thousand Numbered Sets, of Which This is No. ___"-- no number written in. Some pages still unopened. 395 p. and 207 p., respectively. Beautiful full-page engraved ill., and frontis. portrait of the Duke of Marlborough, engraved by R. Cooper from painting by Kneller, with tissue guard. All pages clean and unmarked. However, the first page of the t.o.c is partially torn from binding and has crease. Dark brown boards slightly bowed, with little edge wear or fading but ding on lower edge of rear board and small scuff mark near upper corner of rear board; black lettering clear on age-toned label on spine.
