A very good first edition in the original cloth binding. 8vo. pp.21/[1p.]/pp.248/[1p. - Advert] . 9.0" x 5.75" x 1.0". Red cloth. Gilt titles to front board and spine. Spine lighly soiled with old paper library reference number and small tear to top edge. Original dark grey endpapers. Presentation label to verso of the front board: "Presented by Lieut. Colonel Robinson and Officers of the 1/ Shropshire & Suff. Regiment, to The Captain , Officers, and Yeoman of H. M. Royal Body Guard of the Yeoman of the Guard. Dated July 15th 1896." Clean text throughut, well illustrated with 9 full-page plates (4 coloured). VG
