The spiral-bound booklet is printed one-sided on 60# paper with the fine print enlarged for easier reading. Among the many and diverse topics in the booklet are: Early judicial methods, the Fighting Funk Family, two gastly stories of Capt. John, a Shawanee Indian chief, a vivid account of the cyclone of 1885, Lt. Robert Randolph's assault on Andrew Jackson's nose, and the remarkable tale of Col. C. Garis. GENEALOGY BUFFS will find a list of 1888 county officers and businesses. A 1933 look at the history of newspapers in the county, an excerpt from the 1940 WPA book "The Ohio Guide," a map showing the 88 Ohio counties and a map of 1805 Ohio are also included. .
