Fair. with a journal of travels from London through Russia, Germany & Holland to which are added the revolutions of Persia during the present century with the particular history of the great usurper Nadir Kouli. TWO volumes (complete in themselves). Vol 1: 399 pp, 5 folding maps, Ill. Vol 2: 374 pp, copperplates, index to both volumes. Contemporary covers are worn, hinges weak, internally nice though there is some offsetting of plates onto text. There are engravings above four chapters in vol 1. There are four full page engravings in vol one and 11 full page engravings in vol 2 (this includes frontispieces).
