Very good set in contemporary leather. 1762. 3rd ed.. leather. 4to, 460+, 460+ pp., Complete in two volumes with all plates and maps (many fold-outs), Full title reads as follows: "An Historical Account of the British Trade over the Caspian Sea : With the Author's Journal of Travels from England through Russia into Persia; and back again through Russia, Germany and Holland. To which are added The revolutions of Persia during the present century, with the particular history of the great usurper Nadir Kouli." Hinges partially cracked but holding; contents, including pates and maps, clean; gilt-decorated spine with five raised bands and contrasting title labels .
