Historic Ledyard Volume I– Gales Ferry Village; 1976; 136 pp. Describes the Village from the purchase of land by Ralph Stoddard from John Gager in 1697 up to the arrival of the railroad. Volume II – Ledyard Center; 1987; 159 pp.. History of the hub of the Town of Ledyard, building and houses surrounding the Meeting House. Volume III – Seven Families; 1998; 253 pp. Traces seven of the first families of Ledyard (Avery, Gallup, Geer, Lester, Morgan, Spicer and Williams) through the houses they left. Volume IV – Gales Ferry Revisited; 2000; 101 pp . Starts where Volume I leaves off, with the arrival of the railroad and brings the Village into the 20th century. Volume VI – Quakertown; 2011; 108 pp. The history of the Ledyard Rogerene Community, Watrous (Waterhouse), Whipple, Crouch and Chapman families. The Bluff (1994) – a small 25 pp. volume describing a section of Gales Ferry that started as summer houses owned by the railroad. Ledyard Connecticut Historic Cemetery Inscriptions 1711-1996 , compiled by Sheila Anyan Godino, (2000), 210 pages, photographs, plot maps of cemeteries, names of persons buried. All books in very good condition. Pictorial covers; plastic comb bindings (except The Bluff); fold-out map at fore of each book, numerous black & white photos, drawings and maps. Meticulously researched. All volumes complete; bindings intact; some covers show light edge wear, light yellowing or a trace of soil; pages clean and unmarked. Volume II SIGNED by editor Jan Bell. Cover on Cemetery Inscriptions creased. .
