Neuvième édition, 12mo, pp. 283; engraved frontispiece, additional engraved title page, 2 plates; contemporary pictorial paper binding printed in gilt, green, red, and orange, cut-out panel on upper overlaid on hand-coloured lithographic plate, cloth and paper spine labels; spine ends chipped, small loss to spine, extremities rubbed; ffep and front flyleaf partially glued together, else interior good and sound. Contemporary Southampton bookseller ticket on front pastedown. A very nice example from "one of the biggest printers and publishers in France...and [specializing] in decorative paper bindings" (McLean, p. 27). This edition in Lyon only in OCLC.
