Paris: Garnier Freres, Libraires, 1864. Quarter Leather. Very Good. 8vo. Two volumes. 8vo. Portrait frontis and several additional engravings , including the frontis of volume 2. Quarter green leather with gilt lettering to spines. Bands rubbed, head and heel of both volumes rubbed also. Edges of boards rubbed. Marbled paper over boards. Red marbled endpapers, with the bookplate of R. J. S.?, with the phrase "Jucundi Acti Labores" (Past labors are pleasant - M. T. Cicero). Top edges gilt, with the half-titles. Some pages with some dark spotting, light foxing throughout, otheriwse a clean set in tight and square bindings.
