London, Aldus Books in association with W.H.Allen.. 320pp. 4to. Original brown cloth in slightlty repaired and chipped dustwrapper (some sunning to backstrip). Numerous colour and black and white illustrations; portrait frontis. A very good copy... First edition. Jung's explanation to the general reader of his theory of the importance of symbolism, particularly as revealed in dreams. The last year of his life was almost entirely committed to this book and was completed after his death (June 1961) by his colleagues: M-L von Franz, Joseph L. Henderson, Jolande Jacobi, Aniela Jaffe.
