Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent & Co. Ltd., London, 1922. Book. Good. Hardcover. Inscribed by Author(s). 1st Edition. First Edition (first printing). A presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper: "For Margaret from James, with all good wishes. 17.3.32". 8vo. 109pp. Cloth-backed paper-covered boards, lettered in gold at the spine and upper board. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. The spine lettering a little dulled and with a little wear to the cloth at the spine ends. Some rubbing to the corner tips, a touch of light spotting to the free endpapers and some minor browning to the half-title. A good copy. No dust wrapper. Forty-four poems, published the same year that Laver joined the staff of the Victoria & Albert Museum (he eventually became Keeper of the Department of Engraving, Illustration, Design and Painting)..
