Woodcut diagrams in the text. Complete with 1/2 title and fronticepiece fountain plate. Untrimmed deckled edges with wide margins. Very light foxing and toning to only a few pages. Sensitively rebacked, retaining gilt lettering. New fly leaves and pastedowns. Corners rubbed with one chip on rear board. Very nice copy overall. A necessary companion volume to [Papworth's] 'Rural Residences' and of greater rarity. (Abbey).
