First edition. 8vo, xx, 464 pp., 24 pages ads at end, tinted lithograph frontispiece and numerous other illustrations both full-page and in the text, little soiling pp 313-315, contemporary green half calf gilt, red morocco lettering piece, marbled sides and edges, light fade to spine, short autograph note from the author, signed, and a printed obituary tipped-in, a very good copy.
Macintyre's Hindu-Koh is a big game classic. Macintyre travelled from Srinagar to Leh, and then to Chang Chenmo in 1871.
