Boston: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1904. hardcover cloth. Fine. A substantial account of some 400 pages first published in 1903. Therre are 37 full-page or larger phtographs, most taken by Fratelli Alinari (Florence), the oldest photography company known. A lovely book for lovers of Italian towns.

The cover, in white, black, and red on a green cloth with the titel and author's name in gilt lettering still appears brand new. Ink inscriptin on front endpaper reads "To Mrs. I.M Dyckman with Christmas Greetings, Alberto M. Ulrich, Christmas 1903"
