Pacific Grove: Roy A. Squires/Clyde Beck, 1962. [First edition]. Sixty-eight pages of poetry the last book published under the author's supervision. CAS okay'd more than 30 page proofs before he died. The publication that launched the Private Press of Roy A. Squires, and printed by both Squires and his friend, Clyde Beck, "upon whose urging the press was founded," but dropped out of the venture after the completion of this first book.. One of only 175 copies bound in stiff paper covers. A very fine copy. There were also 175 copies hardbound. One of the variants with laid-paper covers, printed in green.
