Octavo/8vo, measures around 8 7/8" by 5 7/8" by 1 1/8". Dark blue cloth binding, gilt lettering and crest to front board, gilt lettering and edging to spine. Some marking and scuffing, a little discolouration to front board edges. Signs of shelf-wear. Tearing to spine edges, long split down front outer hinge which has left a large flap. Slightly bumped corners. Some slackness to binding, a little strained although contents reasonably tight. Page edges a little browned, scuffed, marked and slightly foxed. Upper edges have been fairly neatly cut. Foxing to endpapers page surfaces, previous owner inscription to second free endpaper but otherwise page surfaces clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
