Hardcover has green cloth-covered boards with dark green spine and cover decorations, gilt spine lettering, and an inset paper cover illustration. Top edges are gilt. Illustrated endpapers. Color title page, frontispiece and plates with labeled tissue guards; additional sepia plates. Gilt and black and white illustrations. All illustrations by Arthur I. Keller. 100 pages. NOT ex-library. Hinges NOT cracked. Binding pulled slightly after the front free endpaper, but still strong. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Spine ends lightly bumped. Spine is lightly sun-faded. One bottom corner of the cover illustration is not glued down, and has a very faint diagonal crease. Illustrated bookplate on front endpaper, with no name filled in. Pages clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is missing. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
