About This Item
Columbus, Oh, 1953. 601pp. Large, thick octavo. Publisher's tan cloth backstrip and marbled paper-covered boards. Minor edge wear, corners worn. Small bookplate on front pastedown, hinges tender. Very good, in slipcase. Jay Snider's copy of one of seventy-five specially bound and slipcased deluxe edition copies of the third edition of Wagner's classic bibliography, revised by Charles L. Camp. "The Third Edition, considerably enlarged and with the addition of many more plates." This copy is designated #51 of seventy-five copies on the laid-in limitation slip. Despite the excellent newer edition the third is still useful, since many of the descriptions of routes and notes in it were excluded from the fourth. RITTENHOUSE 610 (ref).
