Frontispiece a photo of Hemingway.The internals of the book are in quite good condition--clean, unmarked, toned; very interesting photos of Hemingway and people/places in his life. Binding of tan tweed, with clean panels, corners and a spot on the fore edge scuffed. The backstrap is torn, ragged, partially loose from the front panel, almost entirely loose from the back panel. Gold titles on spine, not too visible. Tape over library tag at lower end of spine is helping to hold the boards together. Endpaper hinge has been repaired with book tape. The sewn binding of the signatures, however, remains tight. Library pocket on free endpaper. 141 pages. 9.5 x 7.25 inches. 1961, The Viking Press, New York, New York, USA
