From front dust jacket: In this book, Heidi is married to Peter and living happily in the good doctor's great manor house in Dorfli. She has beautiful twins and little Marta who came there to live. It's a "warm and tender and altogether exciting story which children of all ages the world over will enjoy."

Book condition: Good, Cover is dark blue with silver lettering and has some wear to edges and corners. End papers illustrated in orange and white and has previous owner's name in ink dated 1946, otherwise no marks. Some staining to top of closed pages and serious age tanning of pages. Pages are tight.

Dust Jacket condition: Fair, Some soiling and age tanning. Top and bottom edges/corners have wear and chipping. Some creases near top front. . Recently enclosed in Brodart cover.
