Aileen Mehle, born Aileen Elder on June 10, 1918, and known by the pen name Suzy or Suzy Knickerbocker, was an influential American society columnist. She was active in journalism for over fifty years and her column was syndicated to 100 newspapers, reaching over 30 million readers. She passed away on November 11, 2016.
