With sixty-eight engravings from line drawings by Frances Rogers. Intended for young readers. Moderate wear and few stains to cover. Library marks: inkstamps on title page and page 109; small remnants of bookplate, pocket, etc. removal to endpapers; additional AAUW inkstamp to front endpaper. Text margins faintly worn and occasionally lightly smudged, but generally clean; binding tight.
