About This Item
London: Robert Hale, 1966. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/very good. 19-6-16. The author, a freelance writer, wrote several books that attempted to introduce the reader to the 'real' nature of a range of different countries. In this one he tackles Malaysia in its early years just after independence. His book has been fairly popular since it was first published as he makes a strong case that the country belongs "to all who have staked their claim in her" since most of its inhabitants other than the truly indigenous peoples of the peninsula and Borneo are comparatively recent immigrants. Very Good Hardback in a Very Good Dust Jacket. First Edition 221 pages with an index, some black and white photographs and a map. Weight: 0.7kg. Post free within Malaysia The dust jacket has minor rubbing around the edges. The binding is tight, the text clear and there is mild tanning of the pages.
