Issued to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the founding of Hopital Albert Schweitzer. This book is a compilation of 38 full page powerful photographic portraits in black and white of the people of the Artibonite valley of Haiti. It was photographed by an obviously very talented photographer/physician from the hospital and laid in is a presentation card signed by Gwen Grant Mellon, the founder of the hospital.
