Signed by author to front endpaper, and inscribed "for Hugo Manning in friendship". 1974 press catalogue enclosed. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. Endpapers have strips of tanning caused by jacket. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Gilt is bright. Unclipped jacket has minimal edgewear. Very slight foxing in places. Jacket is in a transparent sleeve.
