1881. [Original Etching]. Heywood Hardy (English 1843-1933). African Elephant's Head, hand-pulled etching on handmade watermarked laid paper. Sheet size: 9.5 x 13.5 inches; plate size: 8 x 11. Hardy was an accomplished English artist known for his sensitive portrayal of animals. Excellent condition, strong impression with crisp lines. Loose and unmatted. Fine. Print.
