Good. 1981 first edition History Book Committee (Havelock, Iowa), 6 5/8 x 9 1/4 inches tall red cloth hardbound, no dust jacket (as issued), gilt lettering to front cover, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs, 666 pp. Light to moderate rubbing and edgewear to covers. Bumping to lower tips of both front and rear covers, with very slight resultant creasing to lower page tips. Black mark (remainder mark?) to top page edges. Blank ex libris label and very light shadow from removed price label to blank front free-endpaper. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce local history of Havelock, in Pocahontas County, Iowa. OCLC (No. 32035473) locates no copies at institutions worldwide. Due to the weight of the book, additional postage will be required for standard international orders.
