New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1932. Early Edition. Very Good/Very Good. An early printing of this haunted house mystery featuring Judy Bolton. Illustrated by Pelagie Doane. In original, unclipped, jacket in protective sheet. Some chipping at edges, and a closed tear on back. Bound in green cloth over boards with purple illustration on front and purple lettering to front and spine. Pencil inscription from former owner on front pastedown and the image of a woman shining a flashlight and coming down stairs is outlined in pencil - no other internal markings. Interior is lightly and evenly toned, otherwise it is clean and clear. 

Pages: (8) 212 (4)     Dimensions: 7⅝ x 5¼ x 1⅜.
