Pristine unmarked and definitely worth reading .beautiful beige cloth covers/very well made-- Not a statistically riddled portrayal of facts but rather - Told as a novel about the hectic days evacuation alien / citizen Japanese American population West Coast. Reflecting the actual experiences many Japanese lived with and those uncertain years the attitude portrayed in the fictional family to Faithfully capture their developing hope and force and despair. Book was written to educate Americans home did not know about the evacuation / incarceration 10,000 American citizens and barbed wire fence guarded camps just burst into desolate areas in the US. Most refuse to believe such things happened. The book was published by the Japanese American project of oral history at Cal State Fullerton sponsoring by the Japanese American Council of historical / cultural Foundation of Orange County. Most of these people are dead or dying that were in charge my next door neighbor was interned and I could never get her to speak about it.
