Not complete.
Spine extremities are frayed.
The gilding on the spines is rubbed off.
Poor external condition.
Looseness and internal hinge paper splits.
If condition matters please do not buy this set.
I have other sets in better condition.
First edition set. 1909-1914. The historical bindings version. With distinctive ornately gilded covers.
The spines have a lot of shelf wear. Abrasions and rubbing to the spines. Some of the gilding is lost.
Not complete. The whole set is 51 volumes. There may be duplicate volumes, I didn't check each volume number, but I think these all came from the same set. If condition matters please do not buy this.
A lot of generalized shelf wear. Some generalized usage wear, rubs, abrasions. Quality paper. Almost 100 years old.
These have some looseness and generalized usage wear. Some of the internal hinge paper may be loose or split. Some external stains.
They display well as old books. In very good condition for being over 100 years old.
These display well on a bookcase.
