Harry Seidler (Wien 1923 - 2006 Sidney) musste 1938 mit seiner Familie vor den Nazis in die USA fliehen und war Meisterschüler bei Walter Gropius. 1948 zog er zu seinen Eltern nach Sidney und wurde dort im Jahr 2000 Honorarprofessor. Sein Lebenswerk umfasst viele bedeutende Gebäude in Australien, Mexiko und Österreich. PROVENIENZ: Aus dem Nachlass des Architekten Helmut Jakoby (1926 - Halle - 2005), einem der bedeutendsten Architekturzeichner des 20. Jahrhunderts.
