About This Item

A very nice copy of the first edition (1950) of Tabori's biography of ghost hunter Harry Price. Tabori looks extensively into the life and legend that was Price and his work. VG+/VG- condition. Pages are absent of any inscriptions or notable markings. Only the most slight natural age wear but no foxing or similar marks or spotting: pages are excellent. Boards are clean and tight. Slightest give to spine but no noticeable impact of such. DJ is unclipped and intact: a previous owner has covered it in a form plastic tape-wrapper. This is not a removable covering, however neither is it attached to the book, only to the wrapper itself for protection. A few repair strips of white paper are present as part of this and these perform their function by slightly showing through to complete the very few missing nicks in the DJ. These nicks are mostly at top and bottom of spine on DJ, and a little one in the middle of the spine. One small further small incomplete segment at bottom right of front cover (see all photos). Overall, though the DJ is very good, just the above mentioned nicks and a little creasing and shelf wear. See all photos - we don't use stock photos, all pictures are of the actual edition for sale
