About This Item
Warner, 2001. DVD Movie. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Richard Harris, Robbie Coltrane, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith. 2001. 152 minutes. Two disc set with widescreen format. The second disc has some very entertaining extra features. Fine in slip-case. From the novel by J. K. Rowling. Screenplay by Steve Kloves. Music by John Williams. Some critics have not liked this first movie as well as subsequent ones, with different directors. However, the introduction of the characters, and of the magical world created by Rowling, is so well done that this remains my favorite, of the films. However, none of the movies are as good as the books themselves!
