This copy has appealing provenance: it was signed for a primary school pupil who attended the weekend as a "cub reporter" for Historic Scotland magazine, and is accompanied by the visitor badges for the signing. Rowling held a single press event on the weekend of 15-17 July, just for children, and the student subsequently wrote an article about her experience for Historic Scotland (a print-out of which is included here). Half-Blood Prince was published on 16 July. Octavo. Original pictorial boards. With dust jacket. With two visitor badges and a lanyard. Very slight lean to spine, spine ends a touch bumped, tips very slightly rubbed. A near-fine copy in the near-fine jacket, bright and clean, with only a touch of creasing to extremities.
