Gilt-stamped leather lettering piece with owner name (Sarah Jane Morrison) on front pastedown. Many engravings. Contains articles and stories by Wilkie Collins (Armadale) , Elizabeth Stuart Phelps (Our Thanksgiving) , Charles Dickens (Our Mutual Friend) , several poems by Herman Melville, Sir Edward Bulwer-Lytton (Death and Sisyphus) , and others throughout.
