Very good condition: tight binding, clean pages, some rubbing along spine edge. Price sticker on reverse of front wrap along with an elegant bookplate (Geoffrey Ashton's) with an ink drawing of two men. Published to accompany a 1981 exhibition that showed at the National Gallery of Art in Washington and the Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven. Includes many full-page black-and-white plates and some that are smaller. 4to. 282 pp.
