Black coloured boards gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Light blue coloured tint to the top text edge. Photographic dustwrapper with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and blue coloured titles to the back strip. In 1968, at the height of the Vietnam War, the author travelled to Hanoi in North Vietnam. This is her account of her time there – of its people, and, the sheer pointlessness of the conflict. Some rubbing of the book corners and back strip corners. A previous owner has covered the dustwrapper in plastic and held the plastic down with tape – which has left it inevitable residue on the end pages and to the next couple of pages as well. Age toning of the text block edges end pages. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels some sunning of the back strip. Tape residue to the fold over panels. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
