Chicago: CCCO. Very Good. 1971. Eleventh Edition. Softcover. CCCO was founded in 1948, as the Central Committee for Conscientious Objectors. It is independent, nonprofit, and non-sectarian. CCCO, which looks forward to the time when our society will no longer have conscription (as now) , is dedicated to helping those who, in the meantime, are confronted by the draft and its demands upon them. It also assists men in the military who feel unable to continue in uniform, or can no longer carry arms. This volume contains information on SSS Form 150, The Selective System - How It Works, Conscientious Objection, In Court and Prison, and In the Armed Forces. It contains detailed information on how to claim CO status and all of the questions a claimant will be asked. Also includes and almost dizzying flow chart of how the CO registrant's claim is handled. 100 pages with bibliography. Lightly worn at spine ends and corners; there is a label on the front that says "Military Advice, Compulsory. " Complete with a card in the front to send away for updates to this book. 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" wide .
